extremely chemical resistant
very hard and erosion resistant
Resistant to humidity or Trichloroethylene
Holds up through re-chromating
Provides protection to metals from attack by salt and other corrosive environments. When used in conjunction with thin film anodic coatings, it can yield up to 3000+ hours salt spray. (ASTM B117)

Normally dimensional increase is in the range of:
Machine surfaces = .0005 to .001 (0.5 to 1.0 mil)
Cast surfaces = .0005 to .003 (0.5 to 3.0 mils)
